Every time we come here we are astounded. Fernie is always the best server. The entrees are so delicious. The margaritas are fire it's always a fun atmosphere We enjoyed a seasonal margarita and a seasonal entree: Italian margarita and Chile Relleno Burrito And then we also had the Skinny Margarita (which is my favorite one here) and the Chile Relleno Dinner We also tried the queso dip and wow! It was so yummy
I have lived in the valley for 30 years and have eaten at probably close to every high end mexican restaurant worth going to. Ajo Al's beats every one of them by far. Do not even waste time anywhere else. By far my favorite restaurant in the city.
Authentic Mexican food. Service is superb. They even have calabazitas! They believe in generous portions. The Salsa is just right. Hot enough to twang my buds; but not so hot I need a fire extinguisher to stay alive!
Great Mexican food with great service. The decor was festive for the holiday season. The staff were all very friendly. I visited with friends during happy hour which has some decent deals. The "mini" margarita is actually a decent size for a good price. The free chips and salsa is excellent. It had a good level of spice for me which I enjoyed a lot. For an entree I ordered the carne asada burro. The flavor of the meat and filling was exceptional. The only downside was I thought the tortilla was a little tough at times but was a small issue. I also tried my wife's enchiladas which had a great flavor of the chicken and the enchilada sauce. Overall I would definitely come back again for another meal.
I got take out of just one of the pizzas for dinner and it is always delicious. Pizza Del Mar is our favorite guilty pleasure. Cheesy and a little spicy. We got the small one this time as last time when we ordered the large it was too much for just two of us. While it tastes great, the price is a little steep - each slice had one shrimp and it costs $24. We ordered online and the timing was accurate. Friendly pick up at the front door. Ambiance is laid back and casual.
Beef tamales, Baby! I had a welcome postcard and redeemed it with ease tonight. Complimentary chips and salsa. Try the Ajo Trio Dips: con Queso, Cheesy Bean Dip and Guaxamole. Yummy scrummy. I loved the beef tamale. Meaty, well seasoned shredded beef wrapped in maiz goodness. Emily our server was a sweetheart. Downer: out of lemonade :(
We had not been to Aho Al's in a very long time. We met our daughter and son in law and to granddaughters here for an impromptu get together. We had already eaten , so we didn't order anything. The waitress was very pleasant and helpful. Service was impeccable and always aware of what was needed without smothering you. The plates everyone else ordered like great and they were all very happy. The atmosphere we clean, welcoming and cute decor. We can't wait to come back soon and have a meal. Great night!!
Ordered online from their website and the food was ready when I was there to pick it up. Got my Mom and Dad a combo and an extra shredded beef taco. I enjoyed the chips and salsa very much.
